Asia-Australia Vascular Biology Meeting (AAVBM) 2025

AAVBM launched in 2015 with four Asia-Australia countries (Australia, Japan, People's Republic of China and Republic of Korea). The meeting aims to provide a forum to exchange ideas and results of cutting-edge research in vascular biology. AAVBM features the exciting scientific programs with renowned speakers in the field reflecting diverse research topics in vascular biology from basic to translational level. No refunds will be made to participants should the Meeting be cancelled or adapted to hybrid or virtual event formats due to circumstances not within the Organizer’s control including but not limited to any acts of God, civil commotion, outbreak, threat of outbreak, or ongoing transmission of infectious or communicable diseases such as SARS, COVID-19, failure of any applicable government authority to issue required governmental permits, and any other similar event or condition making it in advisable, impracticable, illegal or impossible to hold the event.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

■ Language & Word Count Limitations

  • Title:English (up to 25 words, 150 characters)
  • Abstract:English (up to 280 words, 1,800 characters)
  • Presentation Poster:English
  • Presentation Language: English

■ Important Submission Notes

  • The word count shown in Microsoft Word may be inaccurate due to the use of full-width characters, so please verify the word count using the system.
  • Use half-width characters for English letters and numbers, including spaces.
  • Formatting such as bold, italics, underline, superscript (e.g., Na+), or subscript (e.g., H2O) will not transfer during copy-pasting. Please use the editing toolbar to apply any necessary formatting after pasting.
  • Images, photographs, and charts cannot be attached.
  • For any technical issues such as garbled characters, please contact the provided email.

■ Submission & Revision Process

  • After clicking "Save," review your details in the next screen and confirm by clicking "Save Confirmed."
  • To submit, click the "Submit" button and confirm your details before selecting "Submit Confirmed."
  • You may revise or delete your abstract any time during the registration period. Use your login ID and password to make changes.
  • After submission, check your abstract for errors under "My Page" > "Abstracts" > "Abstract List."

■ Deadline Reminders

  • Submissions and revisions are likely to be more difficult closer to the deadline, so we recommend submitting early.
  • Even if you don't need to revise your abstract, please confirm your submission under "My Page" > "Abstracts" > "Abstract List."

Personal Information Handling

Personal information submitted through the abstract registration and event participation process will be used for registration, notifications, abstract compilation, and inquiries. Information such as your name, affiliation, and contact details will be shared with the contracted publisher for abstract book editing and distribution. If you wish to limit the disclosure of your personal information, please contact the Management Secretariat.

Conflict of Interest (COI) Disclosure

A COI is required for all presentations. This should be placed at the end for poster presentations. The COI disclosure does not require verbal explanation.

Acceptance & Notification

The final decision regarding acceptance and presentation time will be made by the organizers and sent to the registered email address. Notifications will also be posted on the event website.
